Giant’s founding partner, Ian Gabriel, was the first director of colour to open an independent, director-owned production company in South Africa.
Alongside producer Cindy Gabriel they opened their doors in the vibrant post-apartheid era of downtown Joburg in 1995. Since then, they have nurtured relationships, built trust, and grown Giant into a global creative film company.
